Digital Academy of Florida students embrace the future

Jacksonville, Florida, May 31, 2022–(business wire)–The Digital Academy of Florida (DAOF) is proud to honor its first graduates at an in-person commencement ceremony on Thursday, June 2nd.ndIn its third year of existence, DAOF has become a powerful virtual learning program serving students throughout Florida.

DAOF students in grades 7-12 choose from one of six different career paths, including business administration and analytics, digital design, computer systems and information technology, web development, medical laboratory assistance/phlebotomy, hospitality and tourism. This year, DAOF will graduate approximately 246 students from across the state. Collectively, graduating classes include the University of Central Florida, Florida A&M, Georgia Tech, University of Miami, Ohio State University, University of North Florida, University of South Florida, Full Sail University, Flagler College, Syracuse University, and Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Ahead of the 2022 graduation, the DAOF highlighted its “top five students” at the ceremony, including Gabriella Terry, Madison Strang, Renie Sanchez, Gwyneth Ringler and Eman Omar. Students look forward to pursuing their future career goals.

DAOF High School Principal Dr. Marisa Martinez said: “Our goal and commitment is to help each student reach their potential and inspire them to carve their own path in this world.”
