Baylor Students, Faculty, Staff and Parents:

National Research Administrator’s Day is celebrated nationwide on September 25th each year, but in recent years Baylor has made it its own. We will celebrate this day tomorrow, Friday. This year will be especially meaningful. This is the first time for an R1 university. I would like to thank everyone who has done great work at Baylor:

  • To our amazing faculty who invest your career at Baylor and engage in high-level, interdisciplinary research that addresses some of the greatest global challenges facing our world.
  • The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research for working behind the scenes to help our organization grow while walking alongside faculty to support the submission of the strongest awards possible with the highest level of ethics and compliance. to the research manager of

  • Congratulations to the 10 faculty members who were elected as Baylor Fellows for 2022-23 by Provost Nancy Brickhouse, PhD. The Academy for Teaching and Learning launched the program in 2011 to recognize outstanding teachers and provide opportunities to implement new teaching approaches in Baylor courses. This year’s theme is “Education for First Generation Success”.of

  • A loyal part of the Baylor experience is the opportunity to grow, love and serve. Whether it’s a Baylor Mission trip with a global partner or joining a local organization here in Waco. It begins on Monday and runs through Wednesday with events and activities. Highlights include dinners at the Fountain and Hall, mission fairs, local tablering events, and the construction of Habitat His House at the Fountain Mall.
  • For Educators – The first “Baylor 101” event will be held on Wednesday, September 28th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm to provide insight into the Baylor Wellbeing Platform, including the upcoming transition of management of Baylor Health Plans to UMR/UnitedHealthcare. focus.   • Each semester Baylor will recognize undergraduates for outstanding academic achievement on the Dean’s Academic Honors List, including students named to the Dean’s List for Summer 2022. Honorably, students have earned a minimum semester GPA of 3.70 and have never scored lower than a ‘C’ while enrolled in the minimum 12 hours of the semester. It starts in the classroom. I am grateful that my students have had the opportunity to engage with Baylor’s outstanding faculty.
